Founded in May 2017, the Research Center for Big Data and Applied Statistics is led by Professor Chen Jiangzhuo, with a team of senior researchers from some distinguished universities in China and abroad, for example, the University of Warwick and Fudan University. The main research field is big data application in financial sector with quantitative investment and PE fund as the two featured research areas.
To meet the objective of building Shanghai into an international financial center, we have followed closely the development of big data technology and finance to produce works with national and international influence. We also make great endeavors to promote the integrated development of the program of finance and the program of data science and big data technology, providing support for the training of high quality multidisciplinary talents.
